We are delighted to welcome back Marcelle Hanselaar, who is returning with her new, superb and powerful body of work, Rebel Women from Apocrypha.
The artist will be attending the opening of this exhibition on Friday May 5, when she will be talking about her works from 4 – 6 pm. If you would like to attend this talk, please arrive in advance of 4 pm on the day. Born in 1945 in Rotterdam, Marcelle studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague, but dropped out to find her own way in life, living firstly on the street in Amsterdam, then travelling east, to India and Japan. Upon her return to Europe, she settled in London and has dedicated herself to painting and, later, printmaking.A member of the Royal Society of Painters/Printmakers, and The London Group, Marcelle lives and works in London. |
