Overview
Jesús Perea (b. Madrid, 1971), currently lives and works in Madrid. After more than a decade as a painter, he started creating digital art in 2011. He produces limited-edition artworks printed on Hahnemühel fine art paper. His artistic process relies heavily on the computer, since it allows both the integration and the manipulation of different paper textures, stains, etc. He has always been interested in geometry, architecture and simplicity. Perea´s artwork explores the interaction between the rational and the unexpected, and also the emotion conveyed by this dialogue.
